The ROSC (or NOC Romania) supports, protects and contributes to the development of Romanian sports and of the Romanian Olympic Movement, promotes the Olympic spirit through education and cultural programs related to the Olympic Movement, takes action against all forms of discrimination and violence in sports, as well as agains the use of substances and procedures forbidden by the World Anti-Doping Code, ensures the observance of the Olympic Charter, defining, in accordance with the latter, the deontological sports rules and by surveilling upon their application.
