ARTEGO’s history goes back to 1975 when The Industrial Unit for Technical Rubber Items and Reclaimed Rubber was built on the Northern platform of Târgu-Jiu. At the beginning, the unit focused on recycling reclaimed rubber. Later on, our company had already started manufacturing a wide range of products and had strengthened its economic growth. In 1990 The Industrial Unit for Technical Rubber Items and Reclaimed Rubber became a Joint Stock Company and received the trademark name ARTEGO. Nowadays, ARTEGO is a well-established and respected corporation offering the following products and services: - RECLAIMED RUBBER- MOULDS- CONVEYOR BELTS (including conveyor belts with TPU) - TECHNICAL RUBBER SHEETS AND CARPETS- GASKETS- REFURBISHED CONVEYOR BELTS- Refurbishing drums is also a part of our industrial activity, thus not only saving money but also saving resources. - Plastics and solutions for belt splicing- SERVICES. We offer belt splicing services at the mining sitesThe rise in export demands is but recognition of the quality of our products and of the ARTEGO trademark. We currently export conveyor belts, technical plates, carpets and gaskets to many countries in Europe, The United Arab Emirates, South Africa, South America. We follow the International Quality and Environmental Standards (ISO 9000 and ISO 14000). Our company has been awarded 3 Prizes at The Geneva, Paris and Madrid Industry Conventions and has had its products sent to the international markets.
