We are a team of young, bright, starry eyed engineering students from KTH, Stockholm and we are designing a rocket payload which would be tested in microgravity. Our Project B2D2 (Bistable Boom Dynamic Deployment) aims to demonstrate high quality measurements of the Earth’s magnetic field from a CubeSat platform using a self deploying boom carrying two magnetometers. The team is participating in the German-Swedish student programme REXUS/BEXUS and our experiment is intended to be flown on the REXUS 30 rocket in March 2021.
